36 volt 500 watt universal voltage & speed controller for electric scooters, bikes, go karts, and mopeds. Connectors functions: battery, motor, brake lights, indicator, throttle (to put), brake, and power locks. You may need to cut and splice a few but not all of your old controller connectors.
This controller has been tested and verified compatible with the 36 Volt Minimoto products below. Not compatible with Go-Kart or Jeep Dune Buggies.
MINIMOTO NOTE: This controller does not support a reverse and reduced speed/training mode. If used as a replacement, this controller will provide forward operation only, and the reverse and training mode will be disabled.
Compatible with most 36 Volt products equipped with 180-500 Watt motors.
Controller connections as follows:
Battery Connector
Black and red wires. Cut and splice to your existing controller battery connector or hard wire to your bike’s wiring. Black to Black, Red to Red.
Motor Connector
Blue and yellow wires. Cut and splice to your existing controller motor connector or hard wire to your bike’s wiring. Blue to Blue, Yellow to Red.
Indicator Connector
Small red and black wires. Battery charger connector, same as OEM connector. Connect to your bike’s “charge” connector.
Lock Connector
Blue and red wires. Key switch connector, same as OEM connector. Connect to your bike’s “lock” connector.
To Put Connector
3 wires: Red, black, and blue. Hand throttle connector, 3-wire. Plug your 3-wire hand throttle wires into the three prongs on this connector. Black to Black, Red to Red, Blue to the third wire on your hand throttle.
Brake Connector
Yellow and black wires. Brake connector, same as OEM connector. Connect your bike’s brake wires to this connector. Black to Black, Yellow to Red.
Brake Lights Connector
Red and yellow wires. Connects to your bike's brake lights connector.
Note: All scooter controllers require a switch, (joined to the "Lock" connector on the controller wires), in order to complete the electrical circuit.
